Knife & Tool Policy and Conditions of Sale

1. Age Requirement & Verification

By placing an order for any bladed product—including fillet knives, or multi-tools—you certify that you are at least 18 years of age. Norte® reserves the right to request proof of age or use age-verification services at checkout to ensure compliance with local regulations.

2. Intended Use

All Norte tools are designed and sold strictly for outdoor, sporting, and utilitarian purposes such as camping, fishing, and bushcraft. Norte® does not sell weapons and does not advocate for the use of our products as such.

3. Compliance with Local Laws

It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to research and comply with all applicable local, provincial, state, and federal laws regarding the possession and use of knives.

• Canada: We do not sell or ship knives prohibited under the Criminal Code (e.g., automatic or gravity knives).

• International: For customers outside of Canada, please ensure the tool is legal for import in your specific jurisdiction.

4. Release of Liability

By purchasing from Norte®, the buyer assumes all risks related to the handling and use of the product. Norte shall not be held liable for any misuse, illegal use, or accidental injury caused by the tools purchased from our store.

5. Shipping & Customs

• Packaging: All knives are shipped in secure, puncture-resistant packaging.

• Seizure: Norte is not responsible for items seized by customs due to regional restrictions. If an item is returned by customs, a refund may be issued minus shipping costs and applicable fees.

6. Conditions of Sale

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to all terms listed in this Knife Policy. Norte reserves the right to cancel any order if age cannot be verified or if we suspect a violation of local laws.
